Bean and Corn Bread Casserole

Makes 6 servings

1 can (28 ounces) or 2 cans (16 ounces) of BUSH'S Baked Beans
1 box (8 ½ ounces) corn muffin mix
1 pound ground beef
1 green onion, chopped
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon oregano
½ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon ground cumin
8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded

Preheat oven to 400º. Prepare muffin mix according to package instructions, spread batter into lightly greased 3-quart baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes.

Brown the ground beef in a skillet with the onion and drain fat from pan. Combine BUSH'S Baked Beans and spices with the cooked beef.

Place bean mixture on top of the pre-baked corn bread and spread the cheddar cheese evenly on top. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is melted.
