Dianne isn’t your typical Texan… she uses beans (Bush’s Chili Beans, to be exact) in her chili! That’s a trait we love that isn’t very common in many Texan’s chili recipes. When Dianne isn’t perfecting her award-winning chili recipes, you can find her working at a local hospital in Texas.
Dianne comes from a family of chili champions who travel all over Texas and other parts of the U.S. to compete in chili cook-offs. Her chili competition team at the WCCC included her “adopted sister” and longtime friend Sara Anderson, as well as other female family members that have their own list of chili cook-off accolades. With a slew of proud cooking awards under their belt, this team of chili-loving ladies have found success in the typically male-dominated chili cook-off world.
In addition to the WCCC in Myrtle Beach, Dianne most recently won the 2016 CASI Oklahoma State competition. Try out her award-winning recipe below!
