Ingredients

Serves: 6 to 8
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp dry mustard
  • 2 tsp red wine vinegar
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ½ lb bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup onion, diced
  • 1 can (28 oz) Bush's® Original Baked Beans, undrained
  • 1 can (16 oz) Bush's® Dark Red Kidney Beans, drained
  • 1 can (15.8 oz) Bush's® Great Northern Beans, drained

Cooking Instructions

    HEAT

    Preheat oven to 350°F.

      MIX

      In small sauce pan, mix brown sugar, mustard, vinegar and ketchup.

      BOIL

      Bring mixture to boil.

        BROWN

        In small skillet over medium heat, brown bacon and drain fat. Add onion and cook until brown. Set aside.

        COMBINE

        In baking dish, combine beans, bacon and onion. Pour boiled mixture on top of beans and gently stir ingredients together.

        BAKE

        Bake uncovered at 350°F for 45 minutes.

          Recipe can be paired with any Johnsonville® sausage, brat or kabob for an added treat.
