  • 28oz Bush’s Original Baked Beans
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ yellow onion, diced
  • 2 tablespoons molasses
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard powder
  • ½ can Cola (6 ounces)
  • 6 slices bacon

Cooking Instructions

    PREHEAT

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

      ADD

      Add olive oil to a cast iron or other oven-proof skillet and heat over medium heat. Once hot, add the onions and cook until translucent and starting to caramelize, about 5-10 minutes.

      Mix in Bush's® Original Baked Beans, molasses, mustard powder and cola.

      Cut 6 slices bacon into 1-inch pieces and spread them out over the top of your bean mixture.

      Bake uncovered until the bacon is cooked and crispy and the beans are bubbling, about 1 hour to 1 hour 15 minutes.
