This one is so wholesome and flavorful, we might have to rename it "Hearty-land Chili." This chili combines beef, onions and green peppers simmered with corn and delicious Bush's® Chili Beans in a rich and spicy tomato sauce.

Serves: 6
  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • ½ cup green pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (16 oz) Bush's® Kidney Beans in Mild Chili Sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (11 oz) whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • ½ cup water
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • jalapeno (optional)
  • chopped onions (optional)

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1
    BROWN

    In large pan, cook beef, onion and green pepper until meat is browned; drain.

    ADD

    Add remaining ingredients.

    • Tomatoes

    • Corn

    • Tomato paste

    • Water

    • Chili powder

    • Salt

    BOIL

    Bring to a boil.

      SIMMER

      Cover, reduce heat and simmer for 25 to 30 minutes.
