Hot Pepper Chicken Chili
This hearty gumbo is full of vegetables, chicken and our Hearty Heat Chili Magic®. It will transport you right to the Big Easy!

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup instant long grain white rice
- 1 Tbsp olive oil
- 12 oz boneless chicken breasts, cut into ½ inch cubes
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- ½ cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1 can (15.5 oz) Bush's® Hearty Heat Chili Magic®
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp hot pepper sauce
Cooking Instructions
- 1BOIL
Heat water to boiling in medium saucepan. Stir in rice. Remove from heat and let stand, covered, 5 minutes
- 2HEAT
Heat oil in 12-inch non-stick skillet until hot.
- 3COOK
Add chicken, onion and pepper; cook, stirring frequently until chicken is no longer pink in color, 3 to 4 minutes.
- 4ADD
Stir in remaining ingredients.
- 5BOIL
Heat to boiling.
- 6SIMMER
Reduce heat and simmer, covered, 5 minutes.
- 7SERVE
Stir in rice and serve immediately.
