Italian Bean Bruschetta

Bush's® Great Northern Beans add a flavorful twist on traditional bruschetta. Substitute our Reduced Sodium Great Northern Beans or Cannellini Beans for our regular Great Northern Beans. These recipes were created with our vegetarian friends in mind. However, we recommend reading each label to make sure every ingredient suits your dietary needs. Serves: 6
  • 1 can (15.8 oz) Bush's® Great Northern Beans, rinsed and drained (can also substitute with Bush’s® Cannellini Beans)
  • 1 large ripe tomato, diced
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • ¼ tsp black pepper or red pepper flakes
  • 24 slices (½-inch thick) French or Italian bread, grilled or lightly toasted*

Cooking Instructions

    COMBINE

    In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except bread; mix well.

    • 1 can of beans

    • Tomato

    • Basil

    • Oil

    • Garlic

    • Pepper or red pepper flakes

    SERVE

    Spoon mixture on bread and serve.
