Ingredients

Serves: 6
  • 1 pkg (16 oz) Long-grain white rice (well rinsed and drained)
  • 2 cans (13.5 oz) unsweetened coconut milk (shake before using)
  • 1 Cup water
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp lime zest (optional)
  • 2 cans (15.2 oz) Bush’s® Simmerin’ Caribbean Black Beans

Cooking Instructions

    MIX

    Rinse and drain rice in a colander under cold water. Place rice in saucepan with water, coconut milk, and salt.

    BOIL

    Bring liquid to a boil. Stir and reduce heat to low setting. Cover pot with lid and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.

      Remove covered pot from heat and let stand for about 10 minutes. Fluff with fork and mix-in lime zest.
