Ingredients
- Main Ingredients
- 2Lb 80/20 Ground Chuck
- 1 Can Swanson Beef Broth (14.5oz)
- 1 Can Swanson Chicken Broth (14.5oz)
- 1 Can Goya Tomato Sauce (6oz)
- 1 Can Bush’s Chili Magic® – Classic Homestyle
- 1 Can Bush’s Black Chili Beans (15.5oz)
- 1 Can Diced tomatoes
- 2 Serrano Peppers
- Spice Mix
- 1T Mild Bill’s Champion Chili Powder
- 2T Mild Bill’s Dixon Chili Powder
- 1T Mild Bill’s Hatch Red Chili Powder
- 2T Mild Bill’s Cowtown Gold Chili Powder
- 1T Mild Bill’s San Antonio Original Chili Powder
- 1/2t Mild Bill’s Cayenne Chili Powder
- 1T Mild Bill’s Cumin
- 1T Mild Bill’s Garlic Granules
- 1T Mild Bill’s Onion Granules
- 1t Beef Granules
- 1t Chicken Granules
- 1/4t Salt
- 1 pkt Sazon Goya
Cooking Instructions
- 1BROWN
Brown the ground chuck and drain well. Set meat aside and wipe pot from clean.
- 2ADD
Add all of the canned ingredients, reserving 1/2 of the chicken broth.
- 3ADD
Prick holes in the 2 Serrano peppers and add to the liquid.
- 4BOIL
Bring to a boil.
- 5ADD
Once boiling, stir in the spice mix.
- 6BOIL
Let liquids, spice mix, and Serrano's boil for about 10 minutes.
- 7ADD
Add browned ground chuck to the mixture.
- 8BOIL
Cook on a medium boil for about 1.5 hours, adjusting liquid as needed with remaining chicken broth.
- 9FINISH
Remove the peppers and squeeze the juice into your chili. Adjust seasonings to taste and serve.
