White Bean Soup with Bacon
For a quick and easy dinner, simmer tender Bush's® White Beans with onion, carrots and celery in a rich broth with bacon. It's ready to enjoy in just 30 minutes. Ingredients
- 5 slices bacon
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, thinly sliced
- 4 stalks celery, thinly sliced
- 3 cans (16 oz) Bush's® Navy Beans
- 2 cans (16 oz) reduced sodium chicken broth
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cumin
Cooking Instructions
- 1FRY
In Dutch oven or large pot, fry bacon until crisp.
- 2COOK
Remove bacon and cook garlic, onion, carrots and celery in hot bacon drippings. Add beans and chicken broth to vegetables. Heat until simmering.

Crumble bacon.
- 4ADD
Add pepper, cumin, and crumbled bacon to soup mixture.
- 5SERVE
Serve hot.
